Welcome to Heim Theory

This website is dedicated to the work of Burkhard Heim, its study, and its further development. It is intended as a central point of orientation for anyone interested in Heim, his theory, and the wider context in which it continues to be discussed — from first introductions and historical source material to current research efforts.

Burkhard Heim (1925–2001) developed, over several decades, an independent theoretical approach that attempts to think questions of physics, cosmology, geometry, and epistemology within a broader framework. His work includes studies on the structure of the material world and the mass formula of elementary particles, as well as later investigations into mathematics, logic, and syntrometry. Many of these texts are demanding, historically difficult to access, or available only in German. This website aims to make them accessible in an ordered way and to show how they belong together.

At the same time, Heim Theory is not only an archive of historical texts. The website also documents present-day work related to Burkhard Heim: translations, editorial work, mathematical reconstructions, lectures, discussions, and ongoing efforts to present central parts of his work in a form that is accessible to new readers, researchers, and a wider scientific discussion.

Orientation on the website

About Heim

The page About Heim offers a biographical and historical introduction to Burkhard Heim, his life, his major works, and the later transmission of his theory. It is the best starting point for visitors who want to begin with Heim as a person and author.

Theory

The Theory section presents the central theoretical fields of Heim Theory. These include Heim’s scientific program in Mathematics and Logic, his later methodological work on Syntrometry, the Mass Formula, and, in the future, a Glossary of key concepts.

Research

The Research section is devoted to present-day work in the field of Heim Theory. It is intended to make visible modern studies, current reconstructions, open problems, and the path toward scientifically usable publications.

Community

The Community section connects the website with the active working and discussion environment around Heim Theory. It points to the Discord server, current collaboration, and ways of contributing to the further study and development of Heim’s work.

Archive

The Archive gathers source material and documents related to Burkhard Heim and his wider context. This includes digitized texts, lectures, Berlin lectures, media collections, and, in the future, a dedicated area for historical audio tapes.

Purpose of this website

Heim Theory does not seek merely to preserve Burkhard Heim’s writings, but to place them within an ordered, open, and serious framework. The website is meant to facilitate access to his texts, orient new readers, secure historical materials, and encourage further work on the theory.

Our mission is to make Heim’s work accessible worldwide, to foster an active research community, and to build bridges between science, philosophy, and future technologies.
