Burkhard Heim (1925–2001) developed, over several decades, an independent theoretical approach that attempts to think questions of physics, cosmology, geometry, and epistemology within a broader framework. His work includes studies on the structure of the material world and the mass formula of elementary particles, as well as investigations into mathematics, logic, and syntrometry, which were published only much later but belonged to the deeper structure of his thinking from the beginning.
