The Heim Theory community brings together archival work, historical research, mathematical reconstruction, translation, discussion, and collaborative development. It is intended for everyone who wants to engage seriously with Burkhard Heim’s life, work, and theory — whether through first questions, technical contributions, or long-term research.

Our community is explicitly interdisciplinary. In addition to physics and mathematics, contributions from philosophy, computer science, history of science, engineering, translation, editorial work, and related fields are welcome. Anyone working on Heim’s ideas quickly encounters questions that reach beyond a single discipline.

Public Exchange

For open exchange and initial contact, the public community spaces are the best starting point. They are intended for discussion, sharing material, asking questions, and following ongoing work around Heim Theory.

Heim Working Group

Alongside the public community, a more focused Heim working group is currently being developed. Its purpose is to support sustained collaboration on source material, theory reconstruction, historical research, translations, editorial work, and future projects.

The Google Group serves as the main organizational and communication tool of this new working group.

Aim

The aim of this community is not only to preserve Burkhard Heim’s work, but to make it accessible again in a serious, collaborative, and intellectually open form. It is meant as a place where historical sources, careful scholarship, mathematical investigation, and living discussion can come together.
